Welcome to Carmel Dog Shop!

We are located in beautiful downtown Carmel, California, one of the most dog-friendly cities in the nation. Our shop is directly next door to Doris Day’s Cypress Inn and a few blocks away from dog-friendly Carmel Beach.

As lifelong ‘dog people’ and Carmel residents, we wanted to create a fun store just for dogs. A place where dogs are welcome to come in and get lots of pets, kisses, belly rubs, and a free treat! We have everything your pup could want. From cozy dog beds, beautiful collars and leashes, dog apparel, fun toys, yummy treats, locally made bandanas and so much more!

Your dogs are more than just our customer. They are family. Dogs bring us so much joy and it’s our pleasure to help you spoil them!

Stuart has lived and worked in Downtown Carmel for over 30 years. He’s a huge animal lover and well known to everyone in Carmel.
You will see him every morning walking Daisy, his yellow lab, around town. He is our Finance Manager, Bookkeeper, and all-around Handyman. Stuart works at the shop on Sundays and Mondays.
